    Percepción de la calidad de vida de mujeres con síndrome de ovario poliquístico Carlos Elizalde Cuenca 2018

    Background: polycystic ovary syndrome has become one of the most frequent endocrine diseases affecting women in women in 5% to 10%. Who are of childbearing age. (1) The symptoms that causes this syndrome affect in their physical appearance, their social emotional and sexual life having a great impact on their quality life. General objective: to describe the perception of the quality of life of woman, with polycystic ovary syndrome. Methodology: It is a qualitative phenomenological study intentional sampling was used. We interviewed 7 women with polycystic ovary syndrome who come to Carlos Elizalde. We applied a semi-structured questions guide was that used in an investigation in Lima-Peru BY Carolina Duarte and adjusted to the investigation. The data were then recorded transcribed and using Atlas.ti program, the information was codified and the results are present in flowcharts where to keep confidentially and anonymity of the participant’s codes were used against the citations, which refer to the age and marital status of the same understanding the code P3-24-s in this way: p3 participants. -24=24 years, - s= single, se= separated; C= married. Results: The perception that women with this disease have about their quality of life is to have a negative impact on some areas such as: personal: physical, social and psychological appearance, but which positively influences the family environment.
