Background: Adolescence is a transition period between childhood and adulthood, encompassing early and middle stages. Significant physical, cognitive, and psychosocial changes are experienced during this time, impacting various areas of human development. Adolescents face a substantial burden of morbidity due to preventable causes, mainly related to mental health, sexual and reproductive health, communicable and non- communicable diseases, physical inactivity, consumption of psychoactive substances, violence, and selfdestructive behaviors. Objective: To characterize the lifestyle of early adolescents aged 10 to 14 years from a military educational unit in the city of Cuenca. Sociodemographic variables will also be investigated, as well as the evaluation of ten dimensions: family-friend relationships, physical and social activity, nutrition, substance use, alcohol consumption, sleep and stress, personality type, school satisfaction, body image, health and sexual behavior, and orderliness. Additionally, the study aims to quantify lifestyle domains that may benefit or affect adolescent health. Methodology: A descriptive quantitative methodology was employed, using the "FANTASTIC" instrument, which is a tool that helps adolescents to recognize lifestyle habits that influence their health and well-being. Results: The study is expected to characterize the lifestyle of adolescents in the early stages of development, thereby preventing long-term problems and promoting adolescent health and well-being. Conclusions: The quantification of the "FANTASTIC" questionnaire scores shows that 49.9% of adolescents have a lifestyle considered "Good job, you’re on the right track," while 37.7% have a "Fantastic" lifestyle. Additionally, 9.5% have an "Adequate" lifestyle, and 2.9% fall into the "Somewhat low, you could improve" category. No adolescents were found in the "You are in the danger zone" category.
