    Percepciones de profesionales de trabajo social sobre la importancia de la disciplina en el ámbito educativo en los niveles de educación general básica y bachillerato, en el cantón Cuenca, en el año 2023

    The objective of this research project is to analyze the perceptions of Social Work professionals about the importance of discipline in the educational field, at the basic education and high school levels. For this research, we worked with professionals from the educational units, as well as professional Social Work teachers from the University of Cuenca and the Catholic University of Cuenca. The research was carried out from a qualitative approach, with a phenomenological design and with an exploratory-descriptive scope. To obtain the information, we worked with two main techniques: bibliographic review and in-depth interview. The expected results aim to make visible the importance of the role of Social Work in the educational field at the first and second level of formal education and the need for its intervention in the prevention of socio-family problems. The results obtained allowed us to know the importance of Social Work within the multidisciplinary team, as well as the functions they perform, the intervention methodology applied to a problem, the contributions they provide, the challenges they face and the most common problems they face. that the professional faces in the educational field
