    Optimización del proceso de floculación y coagulación de la Planta Potablizadora de la Junta de Agua Potable de Bayas

    This work developed in the Water Treatment Plant of the Board of Drinking Water of Bayas is aimed at optimizing the processes of entry (coagulation and flocculation) of the plant , through their respective evaluations and with the implementation of a coagulant dosing device also of gates that will help in the regulation of the flow, has also been developed a curve of coagulant dosage, whose data to obtain curve mentioned are obtained through the realization of jar tests carried out in the laboratories of the Municipal Company of water supply and sewerage in Azogues (EMAPAL). The purpose of our work is to determine the optimal dose of coagulant sulphate of aluminum to achieve the maximum removal of impurities in the water from the catchments adjacent to the plant to Water Purification in Bayas based on the tests to be performed in the jar tests equipment For which will begin evaluating the characteristics of design and construction of the process of coagulation and flocculation, then analyze the conditions of operation and maintenance of the current process and determining whether these conditions affect mentioned process of purification. What we just implemented it will be of help for the operators responsible for controlling each of the processes and to improve the drinking water.
