    Pruebas básicas de laboratorio clínico en niñas de 9-12 años de la Escuela Dolores J. Torres del área de influencia del Centro de Salud No 2 de la ciudad de Cuenca, 2011

    It was basic laboratory tests on girls aged 9-12 years old, of different size and weight, school attending Dolores J. Torres, the area of influence of the Health Center № 2 of the city of Cuenca in 2011, in order to help improve their quality of life. It is a descriptive observational study with a sample of a rating list, the average height is 140.1 cm and weights of 33.5 kg were counted with the consent and informed assent. Samples were processed in the Clinical Laboratory Diagnostic Center, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Cuenca and the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital. We obtained the following results: The average white blood cells is 6041.6 x mm3, red blood cell x 5.2725 billion mm3, hematocrit 44%, hemoglobin 14.8 g / dl, platelet count 340462.5 x mm3, glucose 79.6 mg/dl, 74.4% of schoolchildren have ASTO values below 200 IU / ml in a urine test: hematuria in 34.4%, WBC 11.2%, with positive nitrites 13, 6% and more than two crossings bacteria 39.4%. Intestinal parasitism in 11.3%, the most important Ameba histolytica 5.0%, 1.3% Ameba coli, Giardia lamblia 1.3%, 2.5% Enteromonas and 1.3% Chilomastix mesnili. In conclusion girls 9 to 12 years of school age Dolores J. Torres, identify with a low percentage of parasitism, anemia and infectious processes in urine.
