    Análisis del desarrollo sostenible de dos aerolíneas que operan en la ciudad de Cuenca: Tame, Lan y su aporte en el desarrollo turístico

    This research analyzes the operation of two airlines serving the airport Mariscal LamarCuenca:TAMEandLANanditscontributiontothedevelopmentoftourism from a sustainable approach, seeking to introduce sustainability guidelines in their operations; translating these guidelines from the activities with a view to improving the commercial aeronautical activity with the environment, within a context of socio-environmentalresponsibility. For purposes of study it has gathered information from key concepts that allow for a sustainable development technical criteria airline. Also tools of qualitative and quantitative nature were used, obtaining interviews conducted with the managers of the companies LAN and TAME, developing surveys to service users, showing results that focus on sustainability within the aviation activity. So, both employers and users are aware that the management of aviation activity and growth, and impact in the mobility of persons with tourist purpose should be managed in a sustainable manner, in other words, should consider the three aspects concerning the management of this area, among which are: the environmental, economic and sociocultural.
