    Anteproyecto urbano-arquitectónico para el parque de la zona Cachiyacu- cantón Paute

    The inadequate planning of public spaces, such as green areas and recreational parks, directly impacts the quality of life and social cohesion in many communities. This issue is evident in the Cachiyacu neighborhood in Paute, where the existing recreational areas fail to meet the population's needs due to their scale or unsuitable design. This work proposes the urbanarchitectural project of a 2,700 m² neighborhood park in Cachiyacu. The development of the proposal is structured into chapters. The first chapter addresses the theoretical foundations of public space design and its functions. The second and third chapters include a historical, landscape, and needs assessment of the site and its population. The fourth chapter analyzes relevant case studies, allowing for the establishment of design criteria, and the final chapter presents the architectural project as the result of a comprehensive and thoughtful approach. This design aims to meet the recreational needs of the community, promoting accessibility, inclusion, and sustainability, with the additional goal of inspiring adaptable solutions for similar contexts in other localities.
