    Plan de ordenamiento urbano de la cabecera parroquial de Jerusalén

    The Plan of Urban management of the Parish Center of Jerusalén, refers to the instrument of territory planning in which the guidelines to be followed will be established for the economic and social development of this settlement. This instrument is made up of seven stages of which the two first ones are related to urban planning processes conducted in the rural centers that belong to the Province of Cañar, as well as the collection of basic information through the first approaches performed with the populated center. From the third stage onwards, this project focuses on the development and preparation of the plan of urban management. It begins with a preliminary delimitation of the area of study in which a comprehensive diagnosis will be carried out to ascertain the current situation of the settlement in different aspects such as: physical environment, demography, socioeconomic factors, use and occupation of the land, among others; thus identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the territory that directly influence the planning and development of different strategies for the management process. Following, there is a comprehensive summary, stage in which the information obtained from the diagnostic is organized and the basis for development of the prognosis will be established, which corresponds to the future image of the area of study if this area followed the current trend or if the actual state was improved, reaching in this way the consolidation of the urban and territorial theoretical models that make up the target image. Once the model of city is defined, formulating the plan is the following stage in which the determinations that will enable the proposed theoretical model to materialize and supported by the Formulation of Projects that have been identified as priorities, allows generating an orderly growth and promote the development of the parish center.
