The approach used for this research was the quantitative descriptive type. A total of 151 boys and girls aged 3 and 4 years old from five municipal CDIs, of this group 78 were men and 73 were women. For data collection, the Social Interaction Skills questionnaire of Inés Monjas (1993) was used, based on an adaptation made by Lacunza et al. According to gender, boys tend to present more positive social interaction behaviors than girls at the age of three, with a decrease of this social interaction behaviors at 4 years old.
