    Propuesta de diseño interior y ampliación para el Bar-Restaurante Santa Canela con lenguaje vernáculo ubicado en Cuenca-Ecuador.

    The expansion and redesign of the Santa Canela bar-restaurant, currently operating on a second floor, address the need to optimize a space that, while offering various services, lacks sufficient room for optimal operation. Given this situation, the expansion was deemed the most suitable solution to improve functionality, comfort, and the overall user experience. This design proposal incorporates a vernacular cultural touch, using materials characteristic of the local culture as a key element of its identity. To achieve this, a careful analysis and selection of specific materials appropriate to the context were undertaken, the combination of which will reinforce the character of the space. In this way, the comprehensive expansion and redesign not only resolves existing spatial limitations but also establishes a clear and coherent cultural identity, strengthening the relationship between the space, the brand, and its surrounding environment.
