    Diseño de un producto editorial que revalorice y dignifique la labor de los zapateros de Cuenca, Ecuador

    This thesis aims to design and develop an illustrated editorial product focused on revaluing the artisanal shoemaking of the city of Cuenca, Ecuador. The project seeks to raise awareness among new generations, especially children, about a craft that is increasingly being forgotten and is on the verge of disappearing. For its development, the Design Project Model (MPD), proposed by Paul Peralta Fajardo, was employed, which seeks coherent and socially meaningful design solutions through a sequence of phases ranging from problem identification to proposal formulation and validation.
