In this document, the decision-making process and the factors that influenced it will be explained, as well as the steps and tools used. Section one will be the justification, delimitation, and conceptual foundations. Section two explains the methodology based on William Wells' "Advertising: Principles and Practice" (2006). Finally, section three details the ideation, the creative execution, the development of the graphic line, the prototyping, and the different products to finish with the testing and the lessons learned throughout this project.Item Desarrollo de una campaña de concientización sobre el uso inadecuado de redes sociales en adolescentes de 14 a 17 años(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2026-02-25) Lazo Tapia, Karla Estefanía; Becerra Dominguez, Mario RenéThis project aims to develop an awareness-raising campaign to address the inappropriate use of social media among adolescents aged 14 to 17, through visual resources designed to promote conscious, responsible social media use. For this purpose, the digital consumption context of the target audience was analyzed, taking into account their practices, perceptions, and the risks associated with using these platforms. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach, based on William Wells’ methodology, which enabled the structuring of the process into the stages of strategy, ideation, execution, and media usage. Through interviews with adolescents and professionals in the field of psychology, key issues were identified that supported the definition of the central insight and the creative perception of the campaign. An integrated graphic proposal was developed, comprising visual materials for both digital and print media, to raise awareness of a current social issue. This proposal highlights the potential of visual communication as a strategic tool for social communication and prevention within the contemporary digital environment.Item Diseño de Campaña de Visibilización para Transformar la Percepción del Street Dance en Cuenca(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2026-02-24) Vásquez Faicán, Cristopher Xavier; Becerra Dominguez, Mario RenéThe objective of this project is to design a visibility campaign to transform the perception of street dance in the city of Cuenca. The entire process is carried out under the Ambrose and Harris methodology, which consists of seven stages condensed into five for its final implementation. The research begins by identifying key elements that positively and negatively impact local dancers. By utilizing methods such as focus groups and user modeling in the first stage, foundational information was gathered to proceed to the second stage: Ideation. During this phase, the campaign name “Sé el desafío” (Be the Challenge) was established through a creative brief, moodboard, and customer journey. This guided the third stage, Prototyping, where a visual identity was defined for all graphic aspects of the campaign. In the Implementation stage, the project was uploaded as a prototype to Instagram, while printed materials were presented through photographs of their analog application. As a result of the final visual proposal, an Urban-Brutalism aesthetic was integrated, blending elements from both graphic styles in its composition. Finally, the project highlights the insights gained through a comprehensive analysis, as well as potential improvements for future implementation.
