Item Propuesta de diseño de una cabaña tipo glamping para la familia Fernández en el sector de Paccha(Universidad de Cuenca, 2025-03-13) Fernández Aucay, Raymonth Nixon; Álvarez Carangui, María VerónicaThe project to be presented is a proposal that seeks to integrate the comfort and luxury of modern accommodation with the natural environment, using principles of sustainability and eco-friendly materials. In addition, the project was carried out under the premise of addressing the lack of accommodation options in nature that combine comfort and connection with the environment. The cabin is designed under the concept of balance between humans and nature, using a contemporary style in conjunction with the Wabi-Sabi style with warm tones and sustainable materials. Ergonomic aspects, terrain diagnostics, landscape analysis, spatial distribution and detailed construction proposals that help the surrounding environment are included.Item Propuesta de diseño interior del gimnasio Axxion Fitness exclusivo para mujeres, Cuenca- Ecuador(Universidad de Cuenca, 2025-03-17) Abril Carrión, Verónica Michelle; Álvarez Carangui, María VerónicaThis graduation project proposes the interior redesign of the Axxion Fitness gym located in Cuenca, Ecuador, and is developed in three chapters. Within the first chapter we find a theoretical investigation that underpins the planning of the proposal; in the second chapter a study of the space is carried out through photographs, plans, analysis of problems and needs within the space, in addition an investigation of references that will serve as guides is made, accompanied by interviews with fitness experts belonging to the Axxion Fitness gym and surveys carried out on users who attend it in order to obtain favorable results based on their tastes and needs that will be useful for the final proposal that we will obtain in chapter 3 where the interior redesign proposal is made focused on creating an exclusive space for women, functional and aesthetic, that responds to their needs and tastes.Item Propuesta de diseño interior multisensorial para la inclusión de niños con TDAH en el Centro de Educación Inicial Totoracocha en Cuenca-Ecuador, basado en la teoría de The Multi-Sensory Environment (MSE)(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2026-02-25) Rojas Alejandro, Luis Alfredo; Álvarez Carangui, María VerónicaThis thesis project focuses on the interior design of the Totoracocha Early Childhood Education Center in Cuenca, Ecuador. The proposal involves creating multisensory spaces based on Christopher Davies' Multi-Sensory Environments methodology, with the aim of stimulating children's senses in a controlled manner, according to the different learning areas they receive within public educational institutions. The project's development analyzes aspects such as ergonomics, color schemes, materials, and acoustic and thermal comfort, as well as compliance with the guidelines established by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education and a review of similar projects to address the current needs and challenges of the educational center, both functionally and aesthetically. The research encompasses the analysis of the existing infrastructure, along with conceptualization, technical solutions, and three-dimensional representation, in order to improve the spatial quality of the educational environment. Ultimately, the project seeks to establish itself as a replicable model of multisensory interior design for other Early Childhood Education Centers, contributing to the inclusion and holistic development of children.Item Propuesta de rediseño interior para el Instituto de Desarrollo Cognitivo ILVEM (sede Batan), con enfoque en el desarrollo integral. Facultad de Artes, 2026-02-27) Cobos Morocho, Nube Esther; Álvarez Carangui, María VerónicaThe purpose of this thesis is to develop an interior design proposal for the ILVEM Cognitive Development Institute, Remigio headquarters, located in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, in order to respond to existing spatial and functional problems. Based on an analysis of the context, users, and activities carried out at the institution, the main problems and needs of the space were identified. The proposal is based on a concept of connection, seeking to create flexible and functional environments that support learning processes. Tools such as 3D visualizations, architectural plans, technical drawings, and construction details were used in its development, ensuring functional and formal solutions. The result is an interior redesign proposal that places the user at the center of the spatial experience. Considering that children, young people, and adults participate in ILVEM, adaptable furniture capable of responding to the different needs and dynamics of each group is proposed. The proposal addresses key aspects to improve the habitability and coexistence of foreign students, considering the growing need for spaces designed specifically for this population. Through an approach based on the concept of coliving, social interaction and the optimal use of shared spaces are encouraged. The research employs diverse investigative methods, analyzing criteria such as ergonomics, chromatics, thermal and acoustic comfort, lighting, etc. The proposal includes a diagnosis of the existing space, conceptualization, technical design and 3D representation, guaranteeing functional and aesthetic solutions.It seeks not only to satisfy the needs of foreign students, but also to establish a replicable model in other cities. This work aims to be an innovative contribution to interior design in student residences, promoting integration and well-being in university life.Item Rediseño interior para la adaptación-optimización de la Posada de San Francisco como casa de acogida para inmigrantes en Cuenca (Ecuador)(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-05-13) Vera Torres, Esteban Felipe; Álvarez Carangui, María VerónicaThis titling project analyzes the intervention within the interior space of the Posada San Francisco in the city of Cuenca, founded in 1969 with the aim of offering a temporary shelter service for immigrants in street situations. Through a diagnosis of the place it is determined that it is currently undergoing a significant deterioration, as a result of the significant increase of users who daily make use of its facilities, showing a critical state in aesthetic aspects and above all the growing functional problems in its different areas. Based on this problem, an interior redesign proposal is made, prioritizing an adaptation and functional optimization of the space with respect to the capacity and comfort of the users and on the other hand, the application of a social design, dignified in the sense of the search for an integral comfort
