| dc.description | El teletrabajo es una modalidad laboral mediante la cual una persona puede llevar a cabo sus actividades sin la necesidad de estar presente en las instalaciones de una oficina y con el uso de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación. En el Ecuador, la regulación normativa de esta figura inició en el año 2016 y posteriormente se han ido dando algunas reformas. Dada su reciente regulación y considerando las particularidades del teletrabajo, se analizó si la normativa actual es efectiva para la protección de los teletrabajadores frente a los riesgos de trabajo partiendo de la descripción teórica del teletrabajo y los riesgos laborales en esta modalidad, de la determinación de la norma vigente que regula el teletrabajo en el Ecuador y del análisis de la eficacia normativa desde la visión de teletrabajadores, inspectores de trabajo, funcionarios del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social y operadores de justicia. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Teleworking is a work modality through which a person can carry out their activities without being present in the office facilities with the use of information and communication technologies. In Ecuador, the regulation of this labor modality began in 2016 and subsequently some reforms have been made. Given its recent regulation and considering the particularities of teleworking, it was analyzed whether the current regulations are effective for the protection of teleworkers against occupational risks starting from the theoretical description of teleworking and occupational risks in this modality, the determination of the current norm that regulates teleworking in Ecuador and the analysis of regulatory effectiveness from the perspective of teleworkers, labor inspectors, officials of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security and justice operators. | en_US |
