dc.description | La investigación de las plantas alimenticias y medicinales de “Chuya Kawsay” en la comunidad de Quilloac del Cantón Cañar, se desarrolló basándose con los conocimientos de la lingüística kichwa, Chakra o Sementera y la pacha o sistema de la cruz; dividiendo en cuatro ciclos en el tiempo y en el espacio: tarpuypacha, hallmaypacha, sisaypacha, pallaypacha o siembra, deshierba, florecimiento y la cosecha. El trabajo se compone de siete capítulos. Capítulo I: Quilloac, etimología, fundamentos y resplandecimiento. Capítulo II: importancia de plantas alimenticias y medicinales; empleo como medicina ancestral y comunitaria. Capítulo III: tarpuypacha, fundamentos de la pacha y la regeneración genéticadel muyu, como planta alimenticias, medicinales y prevención de alimentos para el tiempo crítico. Capítulo IV: hallmaypacha, limpieza interna de la Chakra y réplica estética del ecosistema con los niños, (niños y jóvenes), y las prácticas de la reciprocidad. Capítulo V: sisaypacha, el florecimiento de las plantas y el tinkuy o encuentro con la renovación del tiempo, con movimiento artístico de la comuna. Capítulo VI: pallaypacha, recolección de los frutos, sinónimo de la salud y Watana o amarrar en uyanza del haway, hoy conocido el inti raymi. Capítulo VII: propuestade agricultura, salud y educación, con visión y misión de recuperar la nutrición, la biodiversidad y los saberes ancestrales. . dc.description.abstract | The investigation of food plants and medicinal plants de "Chuya Kawsay" in the Quilloac community of the Cañar Canton, was developed based upon knowledge of the Kichwa language, the Chakra or sowing and the Pacha or the system of the cross; divided into four cycles of time and space: tarpuypacha, hallmaypacha, sisaypacha, pallaypacha, or sowing, weeding, flowering and harvest. The work consists of seven chapters. Chapter I: Quilloac, its etymology, foundations and splendor. Chapter II: Importance of medicinal and food plants; use in ancestral and community medicine. Chapter III: tarpuypacha, fundamentals of the pacha and the genetic regeneration of muyu or seeds as medicinal and food plants and the preservation of food for the time of scarcity. Chapter IV: hallmaypacha, the weeding of the Chakra and esthetic replica of the ecosystem with the children (children and young people), and the practice of reciprocity. Chapter V: sisaypacha, the flowering of the plants and the tinkuy or the ritual encounter of the renewal of the season, with the artistic movement of the commune. Chapter VI: pallaypacha, gathering of the crops, synonymous with health, and the Watana or "tying up" (completion) of the year, in the uyanza of haway celebration, known today as the inti raymi (festival of the Sun). Chapter VII: proposal of agriculture, health and education, with a vision and mission to recuperate nutrition, biodiversity and ancestral knowledge.
