| Abstract: | The following project will be presented through the financial analysis for the company of Poultry Rodriguez; the company is dedicated for the up-bringing of poultry. A two-period financial statement will be used to make a comparative breakdown. Tools such as the horizontal and vertical analysis, equilibrium point, and an application of financial indicators, will help to have a better understanding of the financial situation by identifying the critical points of the company, as well as its strengths.
To understand what position of the company within the industry to which it belongs to, an analysis will be presented together to show the industry's average financial ratios and will be compared to several aspects, such as liquidity, profitability, leverage, efficiency, and return on investment. This way everyone will have an idea of where our company stands when compared to the rest of the companies who are interested in the same business activity. And to have a better, clearer focus of the financial situation, it´s has been analyzed under the criteria of expert financial analysts. We have already interpreted the results derived from the analysis of the aspects that are negative for the poultry. A number of proposals are for better decision making which is aimed at optimizing our resources.
In addition to the information provided by the administration and by the observation of production processes that were made by the thesis writers of the Rodriguez poultry farms, some recommendations and suggestions that are tailored to meet the objective of the present work are also provided. |
| Description: | A continuación se presenta un trabajo de análisis financiero realizado a la Avícola Rodríguez, empresa dedicada a la crianza de aves de corral, para ello se utilizan estados financieros de dos periodos con el fin de hacer un análisis comparativo. Herramientas tales como el análisis horizontal, vertical, punto de equilibrio, aplicación de indicadores financieros, ayudan a tener una mejor comprensión de la situación financiera, y a detectar los puntos críticos de la empresa, así como sus fortalezas.
Para conocer cuál es la posición de la empresa dentro de la industria a la cual pertenece se presentan análisis conjuntamente con indicadores financieros promedio del sector, y se compara en varios aspectos como liquidez, rentabilidad, apalancamiento, eficiencia, rendimiento de la inversión, de esta manera se provee una idea de cuál es su situación en comparación al resto de empresas dedicadas a la misma actividad. Y para tener un enfoque más claro aún de su situación financiera se analiza bajo criterios de expertos analistas financieros.
Ya interpretados los resultados derivados de los análisis, de los aspectos que resulten negativos para la avícola, se adjuntan algunas propuestas para una mejor toma de decisiones, enfocadas a optimizar los recursos.
Además de la información proporcionada por la administración, y por la observación de los procesos productivos que realizaron las tesistas a las granjas de la avícola Rodríguez, también se proporcionan algunas recomendaciones y sugerencias que van enfocadas a cumplir con el objetivo del presente trabajo. |
