dc.description | Antecedentes: La cervicalgia es el trastorno musculoesquelético más frecuente de atención clínica en el Ecuador, causa dolor y alteración en el control motor consecuente a posturas mantenidas que adquieren los manufactureros en el área laboral, origina limitaciones funcionales que conllevan disminuciones del rendimiento de las personas, problemas de salud y ausentismos laborales. Objetivo: Determinar el error de posicionamiento articular cervical y dolor en trabajadores manufactureros con cervicalgia de la empresa Grafisum en Cuenca. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio de tipo cuantitativo, de alcance descriptivo y de corte transversal; con una muestra de 50 manufactureros contratados por la empresa Grafisum. Los datos obtenidos fueron analizados con el programa SPSS V15 y Microsoft Excel 2019 para la elaboración de tablas. Resultados: Predominaron las edades comprendidas entre los 37 a 47 años (X̅=46,8) y el sexo femenino fue el más frecuente con un 64%. Todos los participantes presentaron dolor, sin embargo, el 50% tuvo un dolor intenso según la Escala Visual Análoga. Además, el 90% de la población presentó error de posicionamiento articular cervical (EPAC) en el movimiento de flexión, 88% en extensión, 90% en rotación derecha y el 84% en rotación izquierda. Conclusiones: La mayor parte de los trabajadores presentaron EPAC relacionado con el dolor cervical, sin embargo, no hubo diferencias significativas entre la intensidad del dolor y los manufactureros que tienen y no EPAC. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Background: Cervicalgia is the most frequent musculoskeletal disorder in clinical care in Ecuador. It causes pain and alteration in motor control resulting in maintained postures acquired by manufacturers in the workplace, that cause functional limitations that lead to decreases in people’s performance, health problems and absenteeism. Objective: To determine the cervical joint positioning error and pain in cervicalgia manufacturing workers of the company Grafisum in Cuenca. Methods: A quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out with a sample of 50 manufacturers hired by the company Grafisum. The data obtained were analyzed with the SPSS V15 program and Microsoft Excel 2019 for the elaboration of tables. Results: Ages between 37 and 47 years predominated (X =46.8) and the female sex was the most frequent with 64%. All participants presented pain, however, 50% had severe pain according to the Analog Visual Scale. In addition, 90% of the population presented cervical joint positioning error (JPSE) in the flexion movement, 88% in extension, 90% in right rotation and 84% in left rotation. Conclusions: Most of the workers had cervical pain-related JPSE, however, there were no significant differences between the intensity of pain and the manufacturers who have and not JPSE. | en_US |
