| dc.description | El texto denominado Constitución de la República de Cuenca fue el resultado de las circunstancias históricas, políticas y sociales que permitieron que la gobernación de Cuenca declarara su independencia de facto el 3 de noviembre y de iure el 5 de noviembre de 1820. Por lo cual, ante la necesidad de dotarse de una organización política y jurídica, y de consagrar en Derecho lo que por la fuerza se había logrado, se reunió una asamblea constituyente denominada Consejo de Sanción, compuesta por diputados que representaban a toda la República, quienes adoptaron el texto constitucional. Este se compone de nueve capítulos y 55 artículos que regulan la estructura del poder público, la administración y consagran la soberanía, independencia, al tiempo que disponen la ambición de confederación panamericana. La Constitución estuvo vigente hasta la disolución violenta de la República el 20 de diciembre del mismo año. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The instrument denominated Constitution of the Republic of Cuenca was the result of historical, political and social circumstances that allowed for the Governorate of Cuenca to declare its independence, de facto on november the 3th and de iure on november the 5th, 1820. Therefore, in the need of endowing itself of a political and legal order, and shrine in Law what was achieved by force, a constitutional assembly, called the Sanction Council, composed by representatives from the entire Republic, met and adopted the Constitution. It is made of nine chapters and 55 articles, that regulate the structure of public power, administration and consacrate the sovereignty and independence, whilst decreeing the objective of pan american confederation. The Constitution was in force until the violent dissolution of the Republic on December the 20th of the same year. | en_US |
