Abstract:
The objective of this thesis is to show to the public the origin and main features of the vernacular architecture of the city of Cuenca, and to imply the concept and characteristics of Minimalism, in such a way as to generate a proposal for a Interior Design new trend in which to integrate the two concepts mentioned and express them in 3D images of several indoor housing.
The intent of this proposal in the field of interior design is to rescue the rich cultural heritage of the city of Cuenca, promote their application in different indoor environments of buildings that rise quickly in the city and surrounding areas.

El Objetivo de esta tesina es dar a conocer a la ciudadanía el origen y principales rasgos de la Arquitectura Vernácula de la ciudad de Cuenca, así como dar a entender el concepto y características del Minimalismo; de tal manera que se pueda generar una propuesta de una nueva tendencia de Diseño Interior en la cual se integren las dos conceptos mencionados y expresarlos en imágenes 3D de varios ambientes interiores de una vivienda.
La intención de esta propuesta en el campo del Diseño Interior es rescatar la riqueza cultural y patrimonial de la ciudad de Cuenca, promover su aplicación en distintos ambientes interiores de las edificaciones que con celeridad se levantan en la ciudad y sus alrededores.
