| Abstract: | The technological proposal is based on the analysis of the
Andean worldview of Ecuador and it investigates the elements which are part of the main Andean deity as well as
the symbols that somehow give meaning, aesthetical value,
spiritually and historically to ancestral cultures. On these
referents, conserving the ritual logic, the mask has been
chosen to as the main vehicle to bring ancestral culture to
contemporaneity. Knowing that one of the most influential
social media platforms on young people is Instagram, we´-
ve used one of its tools such as filters to create augmented
reality masks.
This concludes with a series of 3 functional interactive
filters with their respective variations based on the reinterpretation of the elements mentioned above, molded from
an applied methodology to the creative process and on the
other hand, the application of the software Spark AR from
the knowledge of Paul Brown, to build the filters, all this
with the purpose of delving briefly into the identity and
alter ego of the new cultures, configuring the final work in a
user on the social network Instagram. |
| Description: | La propuesta tecnológica parte del análisis de la cosmovisión andina del Ecuador e indaga en los elementos que
forman parte de la principal deidad andina y símbolos que
de alguna manera dan significado y valor estético, espiritual
e histórico a las culturas ancestrales. Sobre estos referentes
conservando la lógica ritual, se elige a la máscara como vehículo principal para llevar la cultura ancestral a la contemporaneidad. Sabiendo que una de las plataformas de redes
sociales más influyentes en los jóvenes es Instagram, utilizamos una de sus herramientas como los filtros para crear
mascaras de realidad aumentada.
Así se concluye con una serie de 3 filtros interactivos
funcionales con sus respectivas variaciones partiendo de
la reinterpretación de los elementos mencionados anteriormente, moldeados desde una metodología aplicada al
proceso creativo y por otra parte, el manejo de software
Spark AR desde el conocimiento de Paul Brown, para construir los filtros, todo esto con la finalidad de profundizar a
breves rasgos en la identidad y el alter ego de las nuevas
culturas, configurado la obra final en un usuario en la red
social Instagram. |
