dc.description | Objetivos: Identificar la prevalencia de anomalías citológicas en frotis cervical y factores asociados en citología realizadas en el Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso en el año 2010. Metodología: Se realizó una investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva, retrospectiva, a partir del total de reportes de frotis cervical del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso en el año 2010. Resultados: La prevalencia de anomalías citológicas en la población en estudio fue la siguiente: H-SIL 3,1%; L-SIL 2,9%; adenocarcinoma 0,8% y ASC-US el 0,5% se encontró un 92,7% de estudios normales y únicamente la paridad se asoció con la presencia de este tipo de lesiones, los demás factores no fueron estadísticamente significativos. Conclusión: Se concluyó que las anomalías citológicas que más se presentaron, en orden de frecuencia son H-SIL, L-SIL, ADENOCARCINOMA Y ASCUS. Las lesiones encontradas fueron más prevalentes en edades superiores, en multíparas, en mujeres con inicio de vida sexual temprana, con uso de anticoncepción oral o inyectable y que terminaron su embarazo vía parto vaginal. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Objectives: Identify the prevalence of cytological abnormalities in cervical smears and associated factors in cytology performed in the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital in 2010. Methodology: We conducted a quantitative and descriptive, retrospective, from total cervical smear reports Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital in 2010. Results: The prevalence of cytologic abnormalities in the study population was as follows: 3.1% HSIL, LSIL 2.9%, 0.8% adenocarcinoma and ASC-US or 0.5% was found 92.7 % of normal studies and only the parity was associated with the presence of this type of injury, the other factors were not statistically significant. Conclusion: It was concluded that cytological abnormalities mentioned most frequently, in order of frequency are HSIL, LSIL, and ASCUS ADENOCARCINOMA. The lesions found were more prevalent in older than in multiparous women with early sexual initiation, with use of oral or injectable contraception and pregnancy ended via vaginal delivery. | es_ES |
