| dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigación realiza un análisis del ordenamiento jurídico ecuatoriano, con lo referente al sufragio facultativo en el contexto del marco normativo vigente, tanto de la Constitución de la Republica del Ecuador y de la Ley Orgánica Electoral y de Organizaciones Políticas de la República del Ecuador, Código de la Democracia. La investigación se enfoca en la identificación del derecho al sufragio en el ordenamiento jurídico ecuatoriano, resaltando su funcionamiento, características y clases, se determina la importancia que tiene el voto facultativo y su influencia en la democracia del Ecuador. Por último, se examina lo referente al sufragio facultativo como un derecho democrático en el ordenamiento jurídico vigente, con énfasis especial a la Constitución del año 2008. Se evidencia que el derecho al sufragio facultativo ha generado una influencia importante para el fortalecimiento de la democracia en el Ecuador, por medio de la vinculación de un amplio grupo de la ciudadanía para que pueda ejercer sus derechos de participación ciudadana, en base a los principios democráticos de universalidad y equidad | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This research work performs an analysis of the Ecuadorian legal system, with regard to optional suffrage in the context of the current regulatory framework, both of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and of the Organic Law on Electoral and Political Organizations of the Republic of Ecuador. Ecuador, Code of Democracy. The research focuses on the identification of the right to vote in the Ecuadorian legal system, highlighting its operation, characteristics and classes, the importance of the optional vote and its influence on the democracy of Ecuador is determined. Finally, the reference to optional suffrage as a democratic right in the current legal system is examined, with special emphasis on the Constitution of 2008.
