dc.description.abstract | The tourism sector has been implementing new ecological measures over the years, in order to contribute to the conservation of the planet and its resources. The sustainability that is an essential element in this contribution is based on three fundamental pillars: business, socio-cultural and environmental; these help to reduce negative impacts in each process that is carried out in the tourism and hospitality sector. In this graduation work will analyze the current situation of the Hostal Casa de Lidice, in order to know how they manage its sustainable management; for this, special measures based on the Rainforest Alliance's 2005 Sustainable Tourism Good Practice Guide and Smart Voyager’s 2010 Sustainable Tourism for Land Tourism Operations Certification Program will be applied in order to generate sustainable alternatives that benefit the hostel, the community and the environment of its surroundings. On the other hand, the Hostal Casa de Lidice must benefit from new biosecurity measures due to the outbreak of a new disease that is spread worldwide, for this reason it will be proposed the application of new protocols provided by the Ministry of Tourism and the Emergency Operations Center of the country, in order to create new processes that ensure the health, well-being and safety of all those who are a primary part of the establishment as well as its visitors. | en_US |
