dc.description | Antecedentes: La enfermedad renal crónica y el tratamiento de hemodiálisis generan cambios importantes en el paciente como: calambres musculares, fatiga, debilidad muscular, ansiedad, depresión entre otros, factores que afectan las actividades diarias de estas personas,alterando así la calidad de vida que consiste en la valoración de diversos dominios de la vida, considerando el impacto que estos tienen en la salud tanto física como mental. Objetivo general: Determinar la calidad de vida de los pacientes con enfermedadrenal crónica hemodializados en la Unidad de hemodiálisis del Hospital Isidro Ayora, Loja, 2020.Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, transversal realizado en la Unidad de hemodiálisis del Hospital Isidro Ayora, Loja, para determinar la calidad de vida de los pacientes hemodializados con enfermedad renal crónica, mediante el cuestionario Short Form 36. Se realizó el procedimiento estadístico mediante el software IBM SPSS 22.0 con medidas de frecuencia, porcentaje, desviación estándar y correlación de variables.Resultados: Se evaluaron a 62 pacientes de los cuales la edad media fue 59,84 años. El 59,68% de la población obtuvo un estado de calidad de vida mala, el dominio más perjudicado en ambos sexos es el rol físico correspondiendo a un 80,65% de afectación.Conclusiones: El estado de calidad de vida que predominó en el estudio fue malo, al momento de especificar entre sexo masculino y femenino, se obtuvo un mayor porcentaje en población masculina 67,74%, dentro del cual el porcentaje de calidad de vida bueno fue un 50% y un 50% para malo, mientras el sexo femenino corresponde un 32,26% de la población total estudiada, detallando el estado de calidad de vida correspondiente a bueno un 20% y malo un 80%. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Background: Chronic kidney disease and hemodialysis treatment generate important changes in the patient such as: muscle cramps, fatigue, muscle weakness, anxiety, depression among others, factors that affect the daily activities of these people, thus altering the quality of life which consists of the assessment of various domains of life, considering the impact that these have on both physical and mental health. General objective: To determine the quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease hemodialyzed in the “Unidad de Hemodiálisis del Hospital Isidro Ayora”, Loja, 2020. Methodology: It´s a descriptive, cross-sectional study carried out in the hemodialysis unit of the Isidro Ayora Hospital, Loja, to determine the quality of life of hemodialysis patients with chronic kidney disease, using the Short Form 36 questionnaire. The statistical procedure was carried out using IBM SPSS 22.0 software with frequency, percentage, standard deviation, and correlation of variables. Results: A total of 62 patients were evaluated, the mean age was 59 to 84 years old. The 59.68% of the population had a poor quality of life; the most affected domain in both sexes was the physical role, corresponding to 80.65% of affectation. Conclusions : The quality of life status that predominated in the study was poor, at the time of specifying between male and female sex, a higher percentage was obtained in male population of 67.74%, the percentage of good quality of life was 50% and 50% for poor, while the female sex corresponds 32.26% of the total population studied, detailing the quality of life status is 20% good and poor 80%. | en_US |
