dc.description | Objetivos: Determinar los efectos adversos en los pacientes crónicos y mujeres embarazadas que recibieron la vacuna de la influenza AH1N1 en el Centro de Salud Carlos Elizalde - Cuenca. Métodos y materiales: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo. Para el levantamiento de datos se utilizó un cuestionario similar al utilizado por la European Medicines Agency en la European Strategyfor influenza A/H1N1. Vaccine Benefit-Risk Monitoring. Los datos se analizaron en Excel y fueron presentados en tablas y gráficos. El análisis estadístico fue descriptivo con frecuencias y porcentajes. El valor total del proyecto fue de 600 dólares. Resultados: La población del estudio comprendió de 381 pacientes, con 74% mujeres y 25.9% hombres, la mayoría de residencia urbana con 79.5%. El estudio estuvo comprendido por enfermos crónicos 72.1%, por embarazadas 26.7% y 1.05% que no tuvieron ninguna patología. La primera semana luego de la vacuna el 54.8% no presentó ningún efecto adverso. El mayor porcentaje de pacientes presentó dolor o inflamación en el sitio de inyección (10.24%). El primer mes luego de la vacuna el 98.16% de los pacientes no presentó ningún efecto adverso. A los 6 meses, los pacientes no presentaron ningún efecto adverso. Conclusión: Las vacunas utilizadas en la campaña en el grupo de 381 personas produjeron efectos adversos locales y leves que no requirieron atención médica emergente y que en la mayoría de casos no existió alteración alguna, a la semana, al mes y a los 6 meses de que los pacientes reciban la vacuna.au | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Objective: To establish the complications during hospital stay in patients with stroke in the Department of Clinical Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital in Cuenca in 2005 and 2009. Methods and Materials: This descriptive study was retrospective, longitudinal study. The research was conducted based on the medical records of hospitalized patients with stroke in the department of clinical Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital, located at Av and Av the Arupos April 12, the Canton Cuenca province Azuay, the republic of Ecuador. For the survey data was used previously developed and validated form was completed by the participants of the investigation according to medical records of each patient. Results: 79.74% of patients with stroke who were hospitalized in the HVCM are patients over 56 years. Complications occurred more frequently in those aged 66-75 years with 26.09%. With regard to sex, 77 were female and 76 were men, there were more complications in women with a 52.17% .. The main comorbidity was HT with 78.43%. The main cause of admission was hemorrhagic CVD with 56.21%. The urological complications were 27.83% with metabolic and also with 27.83%. Of urological were the main urinary tract infections with 75%. The electrolyte disturbances were the main metabolic complications with 71.88%. In sequence respiratory complications occurred in 21.74% of patients. Other complications that occurred in a lower percentage were, digestive complications, neurological, psychiatric, dermatological, hematological, musculoskeletal pain, progressive deterioration of the patient's death.
