Abstract

This aforementioned investigation project intends to make a brief analysis about the Recognition of interim governments in accordance with the applied practice by the international community in general, and specifically with the Venezuelan case, in which coexists two governments at the moment, one legally established and the other it’s a facto government. For this purpose it’s been made a study about relevant concepts from its origines to the way of conceiving them at the present time, concepts such as; sovereignty, dictatorship, international recognition, among others, are dealt in order to grant a clear perspective on the subject on discussion. Likewise, the fundamentals of public international law, humanitarian international law and human rights are going to be analyzed towards to reach a proper conclusion, which will provide us a broad understanding about the problem and their posible solutions. All this will be analyzed making a special mention about the Venezuelan problem, to understand international community behavior in light of all the international treaties, international conventions, and the international public law doctrine
