Material didáctico para la enseñanza de tópicos de óptica

Abstract

The present work focuses on the elaboration of didactic materials to incorporate at the time of teaching Optics in the Mathematics and Physics career at the University of Cuenca. A frequent problem is to give classes whit a methodology only that generally is the traditionalism, so the classes become very routine. For this reason is important employ other methodologies to motivate the students to participate in class and be interested in understanding the subject and obtaining a meaningful learning. For which, a poll was realize to students who recently studied the subject and also an interview was realize to the teachers of the Physics area. Analyzing the results obtained, it is affirmed that a one of the difficulties presented for the understanding of the physical phenomena it is evident when trying to interpret the images of the study books. As for the teaching methodology in the poll it is mentioned that the most appropriate is the constructivism and therefore, the best learning it is obtained at the moment of stimulating the senses manipulating the didactic resources and visualizing each perspective of these, also ensure that it is not enough to have the didactic materials but that the instructions should be giving to learn how to use them in the classroom, so the elaboration of a didactic guide is contemplated.
