Guía didáctica para el aprendizaje activo de la clasificación de los vertebrados, a través del hábitat del Zoológico Amaru

Abstract

The present proposal of educational innovation is inserted in the area of the Didactics of the Natural Sciences around the skill of the classification of the vertebrates and identification of their habitat. Its objective is to improve the teaching - learning process through the elaboration of a Didactic Guide that sustains the guided tour to the Amaru Zoo, by children of the fourth year of General Basic Education, of the Educational Unit of the Millennium Francisco Fébres Cordero of the city Cuenca to achieve significant learning and educational experiences. For the presentation of this proposal, it was essential to carry out a diagnosis, which consisted of the following analysis tools: an evaluation and a survey directed at the students; an interview and class observation guide directed to the teacher. The results obtained were analyzed with theoretical support based on constructivism, with which an interpretation was achieved and from this an innovative proposal is proposed through the use of Amaru Zoological habitat, and thus improve the level of performance of the skill. Finally a didactic proposal was made under the contemporary educational guidelines, thus, different motivating, versatile and innovative activities are obtained as results that concludes with a process of coevaluation and self-evaluation. The proposal was socialized and accepted in the Educational Unit.
