Carga laboral y rol familiar del profesional de enfermería del distrito de Salud 01D01 Cuenca, 2019

Abstract

Background: Nursing is an influential profession since ancient times because of the functions it performs in society and the role it plays in the home. In the last decade there have been problems of harmony between roles both in the professional sphere and in the role played at home. The problems negatively affect the occupation and relationships in the home. Objective: to describe the workload and the family role in the nursing professional of the health district 01D01 Cuenca, 2019. Methodology: a descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out. The sample consisted of 77 nursing professionals from the 01D01 health district. The instrument that was used is the survey of "Maslach Burnout Inventory and Psychometric Properties of the Work-Family Interaction Questionnaire (SWING)" which were modified by the authors of the present investigation. The analysis of the information was made with the SPSS version 22 programs. Those that were presented in simple and double tables with their respective descriptive analysis. Results: According to the scale of "Maslach Bournout Inventory", the nursing professionals of the 01D01 Health District presented a high emotional fatigue with a value of 27%; with regard to depersonalization, a high value of 26.7 was obtained and in terms of personal achievement, good results were obtained; that is to say that the professionals present a work overload. As for the SWING questionnaire, data with a value of 0.9 was obtained, which indicates that there is a negative work-family interaction
