Propuesta didáctica para la enseñanza de funciones y ecuaciones cuadráticas, a través del uso de: “Desmos Graphing Calculator”, dirigido al décimo año de educación general básica de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional “Julio María Matovelle, cantón, Paute”

Abstract

The main objective of this degree work has been to apply the Tics as support for the learning of young people of the tenth year of Basic General Education of the Educational Unit Julio María Matovelle in unit number four: functions and quadratic equations. Through the use of educational software with free and free access DESMOS GRAPHING CALCULATOR, seeking in this way to use innovative techniques to address the skills that make up this unit, in order to achieve significant learning. For the elaboration of the work and fulfillment of the planned objectives, it began with the bibliographic review of the current Ecuadorian Curriculum and the current educational currents that aim to improve the teaching-learning process through active methodological strategies, where the student is the generator of his own knowledge. Then a field investigation was made consulting the students about different aspects, through a questionnaire, where the results showed that the students both in the Educational Institution and in a personal way have access to the technology, besides understanding the importance of the use of Tics, to improve learning, and for this it is also necessary to have a guide. In the last part of this paper seven guidelines are proposed with which students are expected to achieve significant learning and therefore improve their academic performance.
