dc.description.abstract | Due to the demand for products from the livestock sector, the livestock sector in Ecuador has increased in recent years as well as the pasture production area. Nevertheless; the majority of the pastures are found in conventional systems of traditional mono crops with overload animal, inadequate handling. As a solution to these difficulties it has been found that silvopastoral systems benefit livestock. In this investigation, a shade system at 80, 50, 30 and 0% was simulated, as well as the response of pastures to climate change of eventual reduction of precipitation at 50, 25 and 0% of rain exclusion and interaction shadow and exclusion of rain in Kikuyo (Pennisetum clandestinum) and rye grass (Lolium multiflorum), morphological variables were evaluated in height, number of leaves, number of shoots/tillers, leaf area, specific leaf area, long/wide relation of leaves, leaf/stem relation, biomass, fresh and dry matter during 3 cuts. In the Kikuyu the influenced shade in the height, leaf area, specific leaf area, long/wide leaf relation, fresh and dry matter, found favorable results in shade at 50 and 80% and the interaction of shadow-exclusion of rainfall had effects on the height, number of shoots, leaf area, specific leaf area, length/wide relation of leaf, leaf/stem relation; Significant effects on the leaf/stem relation were found for the exclusion of rainfall. While for the rye grass in the rainfall exclusion factor, significant results were found in the height, length/wide relation of the leaf with favorable results to 25% exclusion, number of leaves, fresh matter, and dry matter at 0% exclusion of rainfall. In the shade, significant effects were obtained in the height, leaf area, specific leaf area, long/wide relation of the leaf and fresh matter, being effective 30, 50 and 80% of shade. In the interaction shadow-exclusion of rainfall, significant results were obtained in number of tillers, leaf area, long/wide relation of the leaf relation, leaf/stem relations, fresh and dry matter | es_ES |
