Plan de conservación y mantenimiento del patrimonio religioso de la iglesia de Santo Domingo de Guzmán de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

This project is documentary and field, it proposes a technical plan for the conservation and maintenance of the heritage assets of the church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán of the city of Loja, which contributes to an adequate intervention and protection of heritage. It is not the lack of economic resources, is a guide for an adequate intervention in religious heritage assets, this document contains the normative justification, concepts and technical criterion of actions on the elements to be conserved. We will discover through an inventory the components of this religious container (Santo Domingo de Guzmán church), from the point of view of the movable heritage as paintings, sculptures, brass, altarpieces, we will evaluate their deterioration with the purpose of determining the levels of action on the elements. The relevance of an adequate intervention will help preserve the heritage value over time, for the enjoyment and enjoyment of this and future generations, thus preserving the cultural and traditional wealth of the Loja society
