dc.description | Antecedentes. - La lactancia materna exclusiva (LME) es la alimentación del lactante con leche materna de la madre, sin ningún suplemento solido o líquido, hasta 6 meses. Favorece el óptimo desarrollo del bebé, su inteligencia y calidad de vida. Objetivo. - Identificar factores biopsicosociales influyentes en el abandono de la lactancia materna exclusiva, Centro de Salud Carlos Elizalde 2018. Metodología. - Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo de corte transversal, universo finito de 586, se aplicó la fórmula de Pita Fernández obteniendo una muestra de 232 madres de niños menores a un año de edad que acuden a consulta externa Centro de Salud Carlos Elizalde de noviembre a diciembre del 2018. Se aplicó una encuesta realizada por Jem Roxette Carhuas Córdova 2016, Perú. Los datos fueron procesados en los programas Excel y SPSS versión 22, elaborando tablas y gráficos, el análisis estadístico basado en frecuencias y porcentajes. Resultados. - Predominó en la muestra de estudio: grupo de edad 20 - 29 años con 43,97%, sin dejar de lado el 29,74% que pertenece a madres adolescentes entre 13 – 19 años, etnia mestiza 90,95 %, producción de leche abundante 33,70%, el 20% escasa o ninguna siendo un factor influyente en abandono LME, estado civil casado 41,25%, nivel de instrucción secundaría completa 47,41%. Un hijo 40%. Se encontró relación entre ocupación laboral y el abandono de LME, a los tres meses 46,98% empleadas públicas, el 53,45% tiene bajo conocimiento y el 88,41% de madres adolescentes poseen un nivel bajo de conocimientos del tema. Conclusiones. - Los resultados permitieron identificar factores biopsicosociales influyentes en el abandono de la LME en madres de niños menores a un año de edad, además servirán de base para próximos estudios sobre el tema. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Background.- Exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) is the feeding of the infant with breast milk of the mother, without any solid or liquid supplement, up to 6 months. It favors the optimal development of the baby, its intelligence and quality of life. Objective.- Identify influential biopsychosocial factors in the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding, Carlos Elizalde Health Center 2018. Methodology.- A descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional, finite universe study of 586 was carried out. The formula of Pita Fernández was applied, obtaining a sample of 232 mothers of children under one year of age who attended the Carlos Elizalde Health Center outpatient clinic in November. December 2018. A survey conducted by Jem Roxette Carhuas Córdova 2016, Peru, was applied. The data were processed in the Excel and SPSS version 22 programs, elaborating tables and graphs, the statistical analysis based on frequencies and percentages. Results.- Predominated in the study sample: age group 20 - 29 years with 43.97%, without neglecting the 29.74% that belongs to adolescent mothers between 13 - 19 years, mestizo ethnicity 90.95 %, milk production abundant 33.70%, 20% scarce or none being an influential factor in LME abandonment, marital status 41.25%, complete secondary education level 47.41%. One 40% child there was a relationship between occupation, the abandonment of LME, at 46.98% of public employees, 53.45% had low knowledge, and 88.41% of adolescent mothers had a low level of knowledge of the subject. Conclusions.- The results allowed us to identify influential biopsychosocial factors in the abandonment of EBF in mothers of children under one year of age, and will also serve as a basis for future studies on the subject. | es_ES |
