| Abstract: | The present work study the symbiosis of the natural, archaeological and cultural heritage that the different human groups that have settle in a territory over the years, have built a Cultural Landscape as a legacy and inheritance to the new generations.
The study area is located in Cojitambo parish is located in Azogues canton of the province of Cañar in the south-west of Ecuador. This plan have a first phase of diagnosis of all the components that make up these heritages was performed through the perception in the field of each one of them. Here we find the hill with the same name Cojitambo, owner of an associated material and immaterial cultural liability, involved with an exceptional natural landscape of the southern region of the country. This led us to determine the area identified the place with the most concentrated elements that could construct a Cultural Landscape of Cojitambo in order to later assess that heritage load and to develop the SWOT analysis (Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses and Threats), which allowed to determine its final diagnosis (Strengths and Weaknesses) and guidelines for developing the proposal (Opportunities and Threats).
The second phase of the plan was to develop the definition of the lines of action and the strategic objectives, based on SWOT; with the guidelines for the construction of policies and tools that allow the safe- guarding and conservation of the exceptional natural, archaeological and cultural values in the region, as a legacy to future generations. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo es un estudio que aborda la simbiosis de patrimonio natural, patrimonio arqueológico y cultural, a lo largo de la historia; donde el hombre y sus actividades, han construido y transformado, dentro de un territorio específico, sus características morfológicas y es- téticas, evidenciado como un Paisaje Cultural.
El área de estudio se los conoce como el Complejo Arqueológico y Cerro de Cojitambo, se encuentra ubicado en parroquia con el mismo nombre, en el cantón Azogues de la provincia de Cañar al sur-oeste del Ecuador.
El estudio, se aborda en fases o capítulos; con el fin de construir un plan de gestión. Empezando por el diagnóstico, que analiza los componentes que conforman el área de estudio, mediante la recopilación de información secundaria, así como un análisis de percepción en campo de cada uno de los elementos.
Posteriormente se determina la unidad paisajística donde se concentran la mayoría de elementos que construyen un Paisaje Cultural, el mismo será caracterizado y valorado, a fin de aplicar el análisis FODA (Fortalezas, Oportunidades, Debilidades y Amenazas), como herramienta para trazar el camino y pautas para la construcción de una propuesta de Plan de Gestión para el Paisaje Cultural de Cojitambo.
Finalmente, se determinan las líneas de acción y los objetivos estratégicos con el fin de desarrollar planteamiento de políticas que permitan la construcción de herramientas para la salvaguarda y conservación de los valores naturales y culturales excepcionales del área de estudio, reconocido como un legado y herencia cultural y natural en la actualidad. |
