dc.description | Antecedentes: actualmente las posiciones verticales en el parto se están generalizando, en donde el personal de salud debe brindar atención con actitudes favorables y prácticas positivas respecto a las diferentes posturas, permitiendo aumentar su competencia y confianza hacia la usuaria en la libre postura elegida al momento del trabajo del parto. Objetivo: determinar las actitudes y prácticas del personal de salud sobre el parto vertical, Hospital Luis Fernando Martínez, Cañar 2018. Metodología: estudio descriptivo de corte transversal con enfoque cuantitativo; con un universo finito constituido por 84 personas que conforman el personal de salud del Hospital Luis Fernando Martínez, para la recolección de los datos se aplicó la encuesta elaborada y validada por Rodríguez H. (2015). Los resultados fueron analizados a través del programa SPSS 22 y presentados en frecuencias absolutas, porcentajes y medidas de dispersión media (X). Resultados: el 45.3% de la población estudiada corresponden al grupo etario de adultez, del género femenino (85.7%), con una prevalencia del personal de enfermería profesional (36.9%) y auxiliares de enfermería (34.6%); con actitudes favorables a brindar atención y recibir capacitación en la atención del parto vertical en un 75%; sin embargo, consideran que la atención del parto vertical genera incomodidad en el personal de salud durante la atención en un 82.1%. Conclusión: el personal de salud aplica el parto vertical como una forma de atención humanizada, respetando la pluriculturalidad de la población materna. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Background: currently, vertical positions in childbirth are becoming widespread, where health personnel must provide care with favorable attitudes and positive practices regarding the different positions, allowing to increase their competence and confidence towards the user in the free position chosen at the time of work of childbirth. Objective: determine the attitudes and practices of health personnel in vertical delivery care, Hospital Luis Fernando Martínez, Cañar 2018. Method and Materials: descriptive cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach; With a finite universe constituted by 84 people that make up the health personnel of the Hospital Luis Fernando Martínez, for the collection of the data the survey elaborated and validated by Rodríguez H. (2015) was applied. The results were analyzed through the SPSS 22 program and presented in absolute frequencies, percentages and measures of average dispersion (X). Results: 45.3% of the studied population corresponds to the adult age group, of the female gender (85.7%), with a prevalence of professional nursing staff (36.9%) and nursing assistants (34.6%); with favorable attitudes to provide care and receive training in vertical delivery care by 75%; however, they consider that the vertical delivery care generates discomfort in the health personnel during the attention in 82.1%.
