| dc.description | La investigación realizó un estudio gráfico del estado actual del río Tomebamba y su relación con la ciudad de Cuenca con el fin de determinar estrategias paisajísticas que mejoren las funciones ambientales de ríos en entornos urbanos. Se desarrolló un análisis de mapas del sistema natural y urbano como elementos de un solo sistema que se afectan entre sí. El análisis de mapas traduce la información de diferentes campos de estudio en un solo lenguaje gráfico permitiendo entender objetivamente las relaciones entre los elementos. Para entender de manera más integral la relación que tiene la ciudad con el río y sus consecuencias, se analizan secciones transversales que muestran todas las membranas que construyen la superficie del área de estudio, permitiendo determinar 6 Unidades de análisis con características específicas de relación entre estos dos elementos. El resultado final sintetiza gráficamente estrategias paisajísticas específicas para cada Unidad de análisis mejorando las funciones naturales del río en un contexto antrópico. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The research carried out a graphic study of the Tomebamba River current state and its relationship with the city of Cuenca in order to determine landscape strategies that improve the environmental functions of rivers in urban areas. An analysis of the natural and urban system maps was developed as elements of a single system that affect each other. The map analysis translates the information from different fields of study into a single graphic language allowing to objectively understand the relationships between the elements. For a better understanding of the relationship that the city has with the river and its consequences, cross sections are analyzed that show all the membranes that build the surface of the study area, allowing to determine 6 Units of analysis with specific characteristics of relationship between these two elements. The final result synthesizes graphically specific landscape strategies for each unit of analysis, improving the natural functions of the river in an anthropic context. | es_ES |
