Aplicación de un modelo matemático para la optimización del ciclo de abastecimiento en la recolección de leche cruda en la provincia del Azuay, 2016

Abstract

The present research studies the logistic structure and operation of nodes in the process of milk, in the raw milk supply cycle in the province of Azuay, based on information from 2016 gave by MAGAP and AGROCALIDAD; as well as, the information necessary in 17 gathering centers (GC) and 166 transporters. The study determines parameters and necessary variables in the implementation of a mathematical model for the optimization of logistics costs in each case of study; considering the organizational and functional reality of the CAs and the transporters of the sector. It items, the relevance and adaptation of the variables considered in the aforementioned nodes is validated, prior to the application of the mathematical model previously established. This will allow to determine mechanisms that improve the integration with the suppliers and the optimization of the supply cycle, based on the calculation of the optimal quantity of the order and the logistics costs optimized in the sector and nodes analyzed. One of the main results of the study indicates that the management and activities of the CAs and transporters, are relatively empirical in terms of: the analysis of suppliers, logistics cost, and above all, in the operational planning of the liters of raw milk to be commercialized.
