dc.description | ANTECEDENTES La nutrición es un factor determinante para adquirir adecuadas condiciones motoras; contribuye al sano desarrollo de estructuras internas del sistema nervioso central y periférico; aspectos fundamentales para el adecuado crecimiento físico y cognitivo de niños(1). Las alteraciones del desarrollo psicomotor constituyen la tercera causa asociada a problemas de aprendizaje en la población infantil. En Latinoamérica la prevalencia de los problemas de aprendizaje asociados a alteraciones psicomotoras se ubica entre el 33 % al 45 % (2). Objetivo General: Determinar el desarrollo psicomotriz y estado nutricional de los niños menores de 3 años del Centro Infantil del Buen Vivir “ANIMA”. Metodología: Estudio de diseño cuantitativo, observacional, analítico de corte transversal aplicado en el Centro Infantil del Buen Vivir “ANIMA”; con un universo correspondiente a 40 niños menores de 3 años y 40 padres de familia. La técnica utilizada fue con encuestas a los padres de familia y aplicación de los test a los niños. Los resultados se presentan en tablas de frecuencias y gráficos. Se utilizó el programa SPSS versión 22 para la tabulación de datos, Microsoft Word y Excel para el análisis del mismo. RESULTADOS: El 47,5% de los niños presentan un desarrollo psicomotriz anormal. El 85% de los niños presentan un estado nutricional normal, un 10% de los niños presentan riesgo de bajo peso, un 2,5% en bajo peso y finalmente un 2,5% con un sobre peso y alteración en el motor grueso. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Nutrition is a determining factor to acquire adequate motor conditions; contributes to the healthy development of internal structures of the central and peripheral nervous system; fundamental aspects for the adequate physical and cognitive growth of children (1). Alterations in psychomotor development are the third cause associated with learning problems in children. In Latin America, the prevalence of learning problems associated with psychomotor disorders ranges from 33% to 45% (2). GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To determine the psychomotor development and nutritional status of children under 3 years of the Children's Center of Good Living "ANIMA". METHODOLOGY: Quantitative, observational, analytical cross-sectional design study applied at the Children's Center of Good Living "ANIMA"; with a universe corresponding to 40 children under 3 and 40 parents. The technique used was with surveys of parents and application of tests to children. The results are presented in frequency tables and graphs. The program SPSS version 22 was used for tabulation of data, Microsoft Word and Excel for the analysis of it. RESULTS: 47.5% of children have abnormal psychomotor development. 85% of children have a normal nutritional status, 10% of children are at risk of low weight, 2.5% in low weight and finally 2.5% with an overweight and alteration in the thick motor. | es_ES |
