Propuesta para la implementación de la ruta Dudas-La Libertad-Mazar, en las parroquias Pindilig y Rivera del cantón Azogues, provincia del Cañar

Abstract

The goal of this research suggests a touristic route called Dudas-La Libertad-Mazar, located in the Pindilig and Rivera Azogues’ parishes, Cañar province. This place was taken into consideration in order to offer other complementary economic activities such as tourism. Taking advantage of the landscape and cultural resources of these communities, by supporting the conservation and protection of the environment. This work was carried out through multiple fields works to assess the tourist attractions of the area with the use of attractive inventory tools. Those tools were provided by the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador. The objective was to know the attractions that could intervene in the route. Also, the trips were done with the intention to get the geographic points where the proposed implementation of the signage is required. Is important to mention the Protector Forest Dudas Mazar and the cultural richness of this place. Both things are motivating to carry out tourist activities, and to verify this, the validation of the route was carried out. Surveys were made, where 91% of surveyed are willing to do it. Understanding that this route will be accepted by the public, with activities such as trekking, photography and bird watching, being the most important activities.
