Evaluación de columnas de hormigón armado mediante métodos no destructivos

Abstract

The project "EVALUATION OF COLUMNS OF REINFORCED CONCRETE THROUGH NON-DESTRUCTIVE METHODS" presents the origin of the cement and the importance it has in the construction for the conformation of reinforced concrete, it also exposes the different qualities and reactions that the concrete has against the different environmental attacks such as low temperatures, seawater, sulfates among others. It shows the different ways of evaluating a structure, starting from the visualization of the defects to the use of non-destructive tests. The thesis work provides explicit ways to use measurement equipment such as the sclerometer, ultrasound and phenolphthalein to obtain accurate results, guided by the regulations governing each instrument from its calibration to the interpretation of data. 4 Educational Units are evaluated to detect the conditions of the concrete, resistance to compression and the presence of carbonation of the columns of the buildings and compare them with the corresponding regulations.
