| Abstract: | BACKGROUND: The general intellectual maturity in the psychic, social, and environmental spheres of children in preschool period depends not only on biological scope but also on factors of the environment in which they coexist. When the child initiates learning process, it is necessary to form in a balanced way the correct maturity of both body and personality. Therefore, the child knowledge must increase, he/she has to adapt, control, and react to his / her environment challenges.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Determine the level of General Intellectual Maturity in children between the ages of 4 and 5 who attend the primary education centers: Mi Casita, Catarina, San Mateo, Mamis Day Care, Mischief "" Cumorah ", 2017.
METHODOLOGY: The following research aims to measure the level of General Intellectual Maturity in children aged 4-5 years. For the data collection, the BADyG-I test will be applied. It consists of: Intellectual Maturity Verbal and Nonverbal, and Additional Tests.
The data will be tabulated in the IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software, analyzed, and presented in tables and graphs using descriptive statistics.
The universe was made up of the children who attend the particular initial education centers that fulfill the inclusion criteria.
RESULTS: Within our study, 11.1% had a very low score and 38.9% a very high score at ages ranging from 48-54 months.
While 23.2% had a low and very low score and 30.5% had a very high score in the ages between 55-60 months |
| Description: | ANTECEDENTES: La madurez intelectual general en las esferas psíquicas, sociales y ambientales de los niños/as en el periodo preescolar, no solo depende del ámbito biológico sino también de factores del entorno en el que conviven, es por eso que cuando el niño inicia el aprendizaje es necesario que forme de una manera equilibrada la madurez correcta de su cuerpo y personalidad, por lo que se debe incrementar sus conocimientos, además de adaptarse, controlar y reaccionar.
OBJETIVO GENERAL: Determinar el nivel de Madurez Intelectual General en niños/as de 4 a 5 años que asisten a los Centros de Educación Inicial Particular: “Mi Casita”, “Catarina”, “San Mateo”, “Mamis Day Care”, “Travesuras” “Cumorah”,2017.
METODOLOGÍA: Esta investigación determinó el nivel de Madurez Intelectual General en niños/as de 4-5 años, mediante la recolección de datos se aplicó el test de BADyG-I que consta de: Madurez Intelectual Verbal, no Verbal y Pruebas complementarias.
Los datos se tabularon en el software IBM SPSS Statistics 20, fueron analizados y presentados en tablas y gráficos, utilizando la estadística descriptiva.
El universo se conformó por los niños/as que asisten a los centros de educación inicial particular, cumpliendo con los criterios de inclusión.
RESULTADOS: Dentro de nuestro estudio el 11,1% obtuvieron un puntaje de muy bajo y el 38,9% un puntaje de muy alto en las edades comprendidas de 48-54 meses.
Mientras que el 23,2% presentaron un puntaje de bajo y muy bajo y el 30,5% obtuvieron un puntaje de muy alto en las edades comprendidas entre 55-60 meses |
