| Abstract: | The present work “The Cuencana Press and their respective web pages in the development of the parish Turi” was developed on site, in the parish Turi, located in the canton of Cuenca, province of Azuay; which has a high prestige and recognition for its great tourist attraction, defining as a fundamental objective to know the approach that give to the news events happened in the parish of Turi published by two important newspapers: The Mercury and The Time, and its digital versions, through a content analysis, in the period January-December 2015. To complement this objective, the characteristics of the mentioned newspapers were detailed. And, finally, it was determined that the journalistic notes published in both newspapers are scarce and of very little relevance; resulting that in the agenda of the newspapers, the informational presence of the parish studied is minimal, since they are limited to reporting without deepening research and analysis. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo “La prensa cuencana y sus respectivas páginas web en el desarrollo de la parroquia Turi” fue elaborado en sitio, en la parroquia Turi, ubicada en el cantón Cuenca, Provincia del Azuay; la cual posee un alto prestigio y reconocimiento por su gran atractivo turístico, definiéndose como objetivo fundamental conocer el enfoque que dan a los acontecimientos noticiosos ocurridos en la parroquia de Turi publicados por dos importantes periódicos: El Mercurio y El Tiempo y sus versiones digitales, mediante un análisis de contenido, en el periodo enero-diciembre 2015. Para complementar dicho objetivo, se detallaron las características de los periódicos mencionados. Y, finalmente, se determinó que las notas periodísticas publicadas en ambos rotativos son escasas y de muy poca relevancia; resultando que, en la agenda de los diarios, la presencia informativa de la parroquia estudiada es mínima, ya que únicamente se limitan a informar sin profundizar en temas de investigación y análisis. |
