Guía legal para el manejo, uso y aprovechamiento de los recursos forestales en el Ecuador

Abstract

This monograph aims to present a compilation of programs, requirements and formalities in forestry due to the lack of them; in this way, the provision of comprehensive and up-to-date information will be available. Therefore, it is for this reason that the progress made by the Ecuadorian State in providing this valuable natural resource in the last decades has been analyzed. It has been considered in a timely manner to highlight the importance of forest resources in the social, cultural and environmental spheres; As well as the revision of the forest regulations in force in Ecuador and the changes that it has been suffering over the years, especially since the recognition of the rights of nature in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador 2008. Finally, in order to comply with the subject matter of the study, a general description of all the contents of a Legal Guide on Forestry has been made, with the purpose of obtaining a better understanding of requirements, formalities and programs in forestry; and, the way in which it can reach the users and people in general who are interested in the use of this important material.
