| Abstract: | Background: Knowing the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of users will allow to provide tools for the development of strategies focused on the area of medical care, knowing the reality of the needs, experiences and expectations of the user.
Objective: To determine the satisfaction of patients in the area of Obstetrics, with the care provided by doctors and nurses of the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, Cuenca.
Materials and methods: Descriptive study, whose universe was the patients hospitalized in the area of obstetrics of Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso; In the period from October to December 2016. The sample consisted of 422 patients. In order to tabulate and analyze the collected data, we used Microsoft Excel 2013 and SPSS 22. We used frequency and percentage distribution, measures of central tendency (Medium and Median) and dispersion (DS).
Results: The mean age of the patients under study was 25.41 ± 5.86 years, the group of young adults (20-35 years) predominated, the 79.7% were in free or married unions. Less than 28.4% have completed high school. Patients are mainly housewives. The satisfaction of patients with medical and nursing care is high, more than 85% of patients emit criteria of GOOD and VERY GOOD when evaluating them.
Conclusions: Predominated young adults, with some relationship, low level of education and housewives. Patient satisfaction with medical and nursing care can be categorized as high |
| Description: | Antecedentes: Conociendo la realidad de las necesidades, experiencias y expectativas del usuario, su satisfacción o insatisfacción, se podrá entregar herramientas para el planteamiento de estrategias focalizadas en el área de atención médica.
Objetivo: Determinar la satisfacción de pacientes del área de Obstetricia, con la atención brindada por parte de médicos y enfermeras del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso. Cuenca.
Materiales y método: Estudio descriptivo, cuyo universo fueron las pacientes hospitalizadas en el área de Obstetricia del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso; en el periodo de octubre a diciembre de 2016. La muestra estuvo conformada por 422 pacientes. Para tabular y analizar los datos recogidos se utilizó Microsoft Excel 2013 y SPSS 22. Se utilizaron distribución de frecuencias y porcentajes, medidas de tendencia central (Media y Mediana) y de dispersión (DS).
Resultados: La edad promedio de las pacientes en estudio fue de 25 años, predominó el grupo de adultas jóvenes (20 a 35 años), el 79.7% estaban en unión libre o casadas. El 28.4% han concluido la secundaria. Las pacientes son principalmente amas de casa. La satisfacción de los pacientes con la atención médica y de enfermería es alta, más del 85% de las pacientes emiten criterio de BIEN y MUY BIEN al evaluarlas.
Conclusiones: Predominaron las adultas jóvenes, con unión libre, concluida la secundaria y amas de casa. La satisfacción de las pacientes con la atención médica y de enfermería se puede catalogar de alta |
