Violencia de género en la mujer y la influencia de los patrones culturales en la sociedad

Abstract

Violence towards women is a topic that has captured the attention of society in recent decades, both in cases that come to light, and in attempts to annul it. In history and until now in some human groups has been naturalized violence, transcending the fundamental rights that every person must have.

Examining the cultural factors that influence the behavior of the aggressor, allows us to see the root of the problem and its environment, since gender violence must be treated in an integral way, so in this monographic research we worked with a diversity of conceptualizations, Characteristics of gender violence, cultural factors, legal norms and intervention models, in order to better contextualize the role of the social worker in the problem of violence.

The methodology used in this monograph was deductive and analytical that helps us to treat the social problem from a whole and then accentuate in concrete points.

The information consulted was based on books, investigations, magazines and testimonies of female victims who showed that these acts are perpetuated when there is no proper accompaniment and professional help. The bibliography consulted contrasts three models of care that resemble each other and are used in shelters and institutions that work on the social problematic of violence.
