| Abstract: | The problem of the humanity can be summarized in the search of the meaning of life. The above mentioned search is not stopped in the time and place, that does not exclude individual or collective, but rather that is generalized in the history. In this sense, the human efforts to find and build the meaning of life give place of: religions, of philosophies, political movements, social movements, and many others. So, the Greco-Roman epoch, the Christianity and St. Augustine have constituted a sample of analysis and comparison in an investigation, where we find the elements like: the Virtue, the happiness, living consent to the nature, living in conformity with the reason, the pleasure and the knowledge, respectively according to the Greco-Roman visions; Jesus Christ according to the Christian vision; and finally Augustinian one which based this vision in God; as answers or / and options to find or construct the meaning of the life, either individually or collectively. |
| Description: | El problema de la humanidad se puede resumir en la búsqueda del sentido de la vida. Dicha búsqueda que no cesa en el tiempo y en el lugar; a su vez no excluye a los individuos o colectividades, sino más bien se generaliza en la historia. En este sentido, los esfuerzos que el ser humano hace para hallar y construir el sentido de la vida conllevan la formación de religiones, de filosofías, movimientos políticos, sociales, y otros. De tal problema, la época grecorromana, el cristianismo y san Agustín han constituido una muestra de análisis y comparación en la presente investigación, donde encontramos los elementos de: la virtud, la felicidad, el vivir conforme con la naturaleza, el vivir conforme a la razón, el placer y el conocimiento, conforme a las visiones grecorromanas, cristiana y agustiniana respectivamente. Todas ellas son respuestas u opciones para hallar o construir el sentido de la vida, sea de una manera individual o colectiva. |
