| dc.description | El presente trabajo tiene como objeto analizar la incidencia del ámbito espacial en el comportamiento de la pobreza multidimensional en el país, para determinar si existe una dependencia espacial mutua entre los diferentes sectores geográficos del Ecuador. La desagregación espacial se realizó mediante el criterio geográfico de cabecera cantonal y resto de la provincia para el territorio continental, obteniendo un total de 58 regiones denominadas como Unidades Espaciales de Análisis (UEAs) para cada una de las cuales se calculó el Índice de Pobreza Multidimensional (IPM) empleando los resultados de la Encuesta de Condiciones de Vida (ECV sexta ronda). El análisis de autocorrelación espacial se basó en la prueba I de Moran global, cuyos resultados permitieron concluir la no existencia de dependencia espacial global entre las regiones. Finalmente, se concluyó el análisis mediante las pruebas de dependencia espacial a nivel local, donde únicamente en 3 de las 58 UEAs se evidenció la posible conformación de conglomerados de pobreza. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this paper is to analyze the incidence of the spatial dimension in the behavior of multidimensional poverty in the country, to determine if there is a mutual spatial dependence between the different geographical sectors of Ecuador. Spatial disaggregation was performed using the geographical criteria of cantonal headland and rest of the province for the continental territory, obtaining a total of 58 regions denominated as Spatial Analysis Units (SAUs) for each of which were calculated the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) using the results of the Survey of Living Conditions (ECV sixth round). The analysis of spatial autocorrelation was based on the Moran global I test, whose results allowed to conclude the existence of global spatial dependence between the regions. Finally, the analysis was concluded through tests of spatial dependence at the local level, where only 3 of the 58 SAUs showed the existence of possible conglomeration of poverty. | es_ES |
