| dc.description | El presente trabajo, pretende reflexionar y evidenciar, la visualidad que ha tenido la estética de la imagen latinoamericana en su proceso de mestizaje, concentrándose en aquella identidad fragmentaria y poco codificada que se da en los espacios locales y populares. Planteo entonces una actitud que se presenta emancipada de una estética formal. Despojada de la carga que históricamente ha impuesto la “identidad” latinoamericana, se instala libre e irresponsable para crear sus íconos y definiciones. Partiendo de elementos como el barroco y el Kitsch, se plantea un repaso por algunas estéticas espontáneas, que hoy en día viven un nuevo y vigoroso empoderamiento con las facilidades que dan las nuevas tecnologías visuales. A esto se agregaría la popularización de los medios de comunicación y el uso del cyber espacio como los intensos procesos de migración que ha vivido Latinoamérica y el Ecuador. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The current paper pretends to reflect and evidence the visualization that Latin American identity has had in the process of miscegenation, focusing on a fragmented and low codified identity shown in local and popular spaces. Divested of the historical load of Latin American “identity”, it is installed free and irresponsibly to create icons and definitions. It is presented as a rehearsal of some spontaneous aesthetics, which today live a new and strong empowerment process due to new visual technologies. This process added with the popularization of means of communication and the use of the cyber space as intense migration processes lived by Latin America and Ecuador.
