Proceso de anotación de objetos de aprendizaje semiautomático mediante tecnologías semánticas

Abstract

At the present time, internet has a huge amount of learning objects (LO), which are available and stored in repositories (LOR). These LO include metadata which describe their characteristics and they are define by a kind of standard like Dublin Core. They provide the benefits of reuse without the need to invest a lot of money. And this is the root of the importance, especially in the current educational system which has mostly an online trend. On the other hand, the semantic web has become in one of the most recent activities oriented to the web development. It uses ontologies to define concepts and relationships between entities or types in a formal way. Furthermore, there are specific ontologies for the LO management, such as LOM2OWL. However, the main problem is that LO are not described in an ontology, they are purely syntactic which limit their use in the semantic field. In order, LO can be described semantically, they must be described and populated in an ontology. This populated process involves to take and represent manually, semi-automatic or automatic individuals, types, relationships, and properties values. The objective of this project is the development of LO entry process through semantic technology, implementing a semi-automatic process.
