| dc.description | Las mujeres tienen temor de participar plenamente en el espacio público, su percepción de miedo es mayor al nivel de victimización. La incómoda infraestructura de los espacios públicos, construidos sin una perspectiva de género y el deterioro social, que se evidencia en el nivel de violencia que enfrenta la ciudadanía; son las principales razones que justifican la poca presencia de las mujeres en los espacios públicos de la ciudad de Cuenca. Se realizó una investigación que tiene como objetivo principal conocer la percepción de inseguridad que tienen las mujeres en los espacios públicos, como referente se tomó la parroquia Totoracocha. Los hallazgos principales fueron: El nivel de percepción de inseguridad es mayor a la victimización de las mujeres y los mayores temores de participación en el espacio público son generados por grupos de jóvenes que se encuentran fumando, bebiendo y consumiendo drogas en los parques | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Women are afraid to participate fully in the public space; their fear perception is greater to the level of victimization. The uncomfortable infrastructure of public spaces, built without a gender perspective and social deterioration, which is evident in the level of violence faced by citizenship; are the main reasons that justify the low women presence in the public spaces around the city of Cuenca.
